Child protection is defined as being the process of protecting individual children identified as either suffering, or likely to suffer significant harm because of abuse or neglect. Nodo runs protection programs in Somalia in partnership with various funding partners. We do this in consultation with relevant line ministries. We provide prevention and response services to the children and adults facing protection concerns such as Child Abuse, Sexual and Gender Based Violence, and Displacement through community awareness raising, capacity building for the stakeholders and support services to the victims.
