Collaborative initiative involving the Finnish Somali network
Rajo, which translates to “hope,” is a collaborative initiative involving the Finnish Somali network, three Finnish civil society organizations, and three partner organizations in the project area, along with a Finnish University of Applied Sciences.
The primary aim of the TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) schools is to equip youth and adults with the skills needed for the labor market, focusing on technological advancements and innovations in science. This includes the revitalization of technical vocational education institutions.
The project aspires to create a well-coordinated TVET system that produces a highly skilled workforce, contributing to sustainable income and social development.
